To the Members of the Magnolia Villas Homeowners’ Association;
City of Waco Water Issue
The City of Waco has been notified of the water issue throughout the neighborhood causing continual runoff in the streets. The city has made marking for repair, and we have been told they are set to begin work this next week. Because the issue was not with a main water line, it was not given priority, but we are checking in with them regularly to give you updates to the best of our ability.
Lawn Care
The budget was approved at the Annual Meeting included our current lawn care plan of 24 maintenance calls each year. Both board and management have discussed that this number does not provide enough care for the neighborhood, particularly in this heavy growing season. We have received two quotes for additional maintenance calls from our current provider, but the pricing would create a budget overage and require payment out of our savings or a raise in HOA dues. We have requested quotes from other providers and hope to have these back in the next week. We want to provide the best and most necessary care for the community possible.
Sprinkler Update
The sprinkler system has been set to service the neighborhood on Monday and Thursday mornings. If you notice any inconsistencies on your property with the sprinkler service, please let the board know as soon as you are able.
HOA Board Meeting
The next meeting of the board will be on May 14 at 1205 Drake Ct. Any individual is welcome from the neighborhood should you like to join. While these meetings are primarily for board discussion and action, we will make space for community conversation as necessary. Should there be specific items you would like to discuss with the board, we ask that you make these known to us prior to the meeting date.
